Paleo Bread

- 1 cup almond flour
- ¼ cup coconut flour
- ¼ cup ground flaxseed
- ¼ cup arrowroot flour (or tapioca flour)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 4 large eggs
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- ¼ cup unsweetened dairy-free milk
Step by step
- First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8-inch by 4-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, ground flaxseed, arrowroot flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, and honey.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in the dairy-free milk to create a smooth batter. The consistency should be similar to traditional bread batter.
- Transfer the bread batter to the prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove the bread from the oven. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a cooling rack to cool completely.
- Lastly, once the Paleo bread has cooled, slice into pieces.
