Easy strawberry tart
Simple and gorgeous, making strawberries sing.

- 1 Cooks’ Ingredients Sweet Pastry Case
- 250g essential Waitrose Mascarpone
- 4 tbsp essential Waitrose Strawberry Jam
- 400g strawberries
Step by step
- Put the pastry case onto a flat serving plate. Tip the mascarpone into a bowl, beat a little to soften, then spread into the pastry case.
- Stir 2 tbsp jam to loosen, then dot it over the mascarpone and swirl it in using the handle of a teaspoon. Hull and halve the strawberries and arrange, cut-side down, on the mascarpone.
- Gently melt 2 tbsp more jam in a small pan or the microwave. Using a pastry brush, glaze the strawberries with the jam, then leave to set for a few moments. Serve with any remaining berries on the side.
