Easy strawberry tart

Simple and gorgeous, making strawberries sing.

Ingreadient

    • 1 Cooks’ Ingredients Sweet Pastry Case
    • 250g essential Waitrose Mascarpone
    • 4 tbsp essential Waitrose Strawberry Jam
    • 400g strawberries

Step by step

    1. Put the pastry case onto a flat serving plate. Tip the mascarpone into a bowl, beat a little to soften, then spread into the pastry case.
    2. Stir 2 tbsp jam to loosen, then dot it over the mascarpone and swirl it in using the handle of a teaspoon. Hull and halve the strawberries and arrange, cut-side down, on the mascarpone.
    3. Gently melt 2 tbsp more jam in a small pan or the microwave. Using a pastry brush, glaze the strawberries with the jam, then leave to set for a few moments. Serve with any remaining berries on the side.
