Hot honey pork belly buns with cucumber & slaw
An easy and fabulous looking meal made from just four ingredients that can be tweaked to include as much – or as little – filling as you want.
Ingreadient
- 6 Smokin’ hot honey pork belly slices
- 1 Essential Cucumber
- 400g pot Japan Menyú Shredded Cabbage & Edamame Slaw
- 6 Japan Menyū Steamed Buns
Step by step
- Cook the pork according to pack instructions. Meanwhile, peel the cucumber into thin ribbons, then toss with a pinch of salt and sugar and a dash of white wine, cider or rice vinegar
- Toss the slaw mix with its dressing. When the pork slices are ready, cut them into shorter lengths.
- Heat the steamed buns according to pack instructions, then fill with the pork, slaw and folded ribbons of pickled cucumber, serving any leftover cucumber on the side.
