Strawberry & white chocolate croffles
A brilliant way to cook raw croissant dough without the oven. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your waffle iron – a single croffle is the perfect size for a mini waffle maker.
Ingreadient
- 350g pack Jus-Rol Croissants
- 60g white chocolate, chopped
- 200g No.1 Natural Strained Greek Yogurt
- 12 large strawberries, hulled and sliced
Step by step
- Preheat an electric or stove-top waffle iron. Open out the dough and cut along the perforations to separate the 6 triangular pieces.
- Scatter the chocolate along the bottom (shorter straight side) of the dough, then roll up from that edge to the opposite tip to form a straight croissant. Coil it round to form a bun, then pat lightly to flatten into an even disc. Repeat to make 6 discs.
- Place the croissant(s) in the waffle maker, press down firmly and cook for 5-7 minutes, until crisp and golden. Repeat in batches until all the croissants are cooked through. Top with the yogurt and sliced strawberries, then serve.
